WHAT FLEW BY !!!
Paul Adams was host to about 20 members and visitors to see his progress on the Fisher Celebrity biplane. His workmanship is par excellant! He has the main components built and is now working on the systems details. He has an O-200 and new Sensenich prop to install. You can see a couple of pictures in this newsletter with more on the web soon.
WHAT'S FLYIN' THIS WAY !!!

Busy Month!
First is our meeting on the 13th. Joe Kuberka of Blue Goose Aviation in Colorado, will be our guest speaker. Joe and his wife operate a flying tour company called America Air Tours and has a very interesting presentation of what it is like to fly, swim and fish in the mountains. Garry will put a notice in the TR and invite the general public. The meeting will be at the Iowa Valley Continuing Education building, room 608-610. IVCE is on the southwest part of the Community College campus located about 1/4 mile south of US 30 on HWY 14, in Marshalltown. See the map on page 2.
THEN on the very next day, the 14th, is our Young Eagles Day. Once again it is our priviledge to give first flights to the new group of Sea Cadets headed up by Eric Goslinga. We need all the volunteers we can muster to make it the great success we have had in the past. Pilots, planes and ground crew will all be needed. We will take the time on the 13th to do the final coordinating plans for the flights. Eric tells us there may be 25 new Cadets, and some of the others may want seconds if we have the time and space. OUR goal as EAA members is to make their flights as enjoyable as possible. Rain date is May 15th.
There are Fly-ins EVERYWHERE this summer.
Check the calendar and LET'S HAVE FUN!!

PROJECT REPORTS
Ray Robinson
heard a funny noise in his Aeronca engine. Found some broken cylinder bolts! Just in time. Runs great now.
Les Risius is molding the windows for his Cavalier.
Dave McCurry has the engine running on the N3 Pup. Won't be long now till it's flying.
Corey Butcher is trying to paint wings. Still a little too cool. Brakes are installed with beefier motorcycle wheels instead of the plastic tuff wheels.
Doug Boyd has been doing an extended annual on his Challenger II. He is going to have the exhaust ceramic coated.
Directions to IVCE 3702 S. Center St. Marshalltown, IA IVCE is on the southwest part of the Community College campus located about 1/4 mile south of US 30 on 14
